  • Elyse Ayliffe, HBSW, MSW, RSW

    REGISTERED SOCIAL WORKER, EMDR THERAPIST, CLINICAL TRAUMATOLOGIST, CERTIFIED AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER CLINICAL SPECIALIST

    Elyse (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker and Clinical Traumatologist who has completed her Masters in Social Work. She has been providing counselling since 2015, working with families, couples, adolescents and adults alike. Her compassionate and empathetic nature has allowed her to walk with clients experiencing a wide range of ever changing life events such as relationship issues, co parenting coaching, autism services, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, self harm, suicidal thoughts, family conflict (including resist-refuse dynamics), grief and loss, managing emotions, flexible thinking, coping skills, and supportive counselling. She is passionate about understanding the complexities of trauma and the impact it can have in relation to development and growth.

    Lindsay (she/ her) is a Registered Social Worker, who has completed her Masters in Social Work. Lindsay has over seven years of extensive experience working with children, transitional aged youth, adolescents and adults. Lindsay specializes in mood disorders, depression, anxiety, self-harm, thoughts of suicide, grief/ bereavement, motivation and concentration difficulties, self-esteem, relationship concerns, and dual diagnosis. Lindsay has specialized training in perinatal mental health with a focus on grief and bereavement after loss and pregnancy that follows, struggles with fertility, new parenthood, and life transitions.

  • Rachel LaRosee, MA, RP

    REGISTERED PSYCHOTHERAPIST, CLINICAL TRAUMATOLOGIST

    Rachel (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, Canadian Certified Counsellor and Clinical Traumatologist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Justice Studies and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Rachel has always had a passion for helping others which is why she spent the last 10 years working in the law field. Working in law exposed her to the complexities of life, developing her belief that change, growth and healing is possible if individuals are supported with compassion, empathy, and non-judgement. This belief has become her therapeutic approach, along with recognizing and valuing that each client is unique, making the therapy process unique.
