Brittany Gosnell, HBA, MCAP (candidate), RP (qualifying)
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
I (she/her) am a Qualifying Registered Psychotherapist and Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology student at Yorkville University. I work from a client-centred perspective, creating a compassionate, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their experiences at a pace that feels aligned and authentic to them.
My approach to Psychotherapy incorporates mindfulness and psychosomatic perspectives, emphasizing the mind-body connection and exploring how emotions, experiences, and physical well-being intersect and impact clients' lives.
I am particularly focused on supporting members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, as well as individuals navigating chronic pain and its emotional and psychological impact on everyday life. In my work I strive to offer an affirming, inclusive and welcoming therapeutic space for individuals that honours their unique identity, lived experiences, strengths, and personal goals.
At the core of my work is the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives. My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, support and respect as you explore what healing, growth, and meaningful change may look like for you.
