Registered Social Service Worker, Early Childhood Educator
I am a Registered Social Services Worker and Registered Early Childhood Educator with a Bachelor of Professional Arts in Human Services, and I am currently completing my Master of Social Work (MSW). I bring extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, individuals, and families across a variety of settings. Working alongside children and teens has been a significant part of my professional experience, and I understand the importance of creating a space where young people feel heard, understood, and accepted for who they are.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe that every individual has unique strengths and abilities that can support resilience, confidence, and meaningful growth. When working with children and teens, I take the time to understand not only the challenges they are experiencing, but also the relationships, environments, and experiences that may be influencing how they see themselves and navigate the world.
My work is informed by attachment-based and narrative approaches, along with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices. I use an eclectic approach that allows therapy to be tailored to each individual’s age, personality, needs, and goals. For children and adolescents, I incorporate developmentally appropriate strategies and activities to help make therapy accessible, engaging, and meaningful.
I support children and teens who may be navigating anxiety, low self-esteem, identity and self-discovery, emotional challenges, life transitions, relationships, and difficulties adjusting to change. I also work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, personal growth, identity exploration, and significant life transitions.
My goal is to help each person develop a practical and personalized toolkit of skills they can carry with them beyond the therapy room. Whether working with a child who is learning to understand and express their emotions, a teenager navigating identity and confidence, or an adult moving through a difficult transition, I strive to create a safe and compassionate space where insight can develop, skills can grow, and meaningful change feels possible.
I believe therapy is a collaborative process. My role is not to tell you who you should be, but to walk alongside you as you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and move toward the life and relationships you want to create.
